Day 01: Arrival at Chennai - Mahabalipuram
The moment you arrive at Chennai International Airport, you’ll be welcomed and received by our tour representative. Soon after, you’ll be transferred to Mahabalipuram. Make a check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day will be at your hands. You can keep yourself engaged in various recreational activities in the hotel or outside. Night stay will be at Mahabalipuram.

Day 02: Mahabalipuram
After an early morning breakfast, you’ll be driven for various tourist attractions of Mahabalipuram. Major destinations covered will include Shore Temple, Pancha Pandava Rathas, Arjuna’s Penance, Varaha Cave Temple and Krishna’s Butterball. These sites provide an insight of why Mahabalipuram is highly popular amongst tourists. In the ancient times, this city was an important port for the Pallavas. Later in the afternoon, you’ll be taken to Kanchipuram, famously known as the ‘City of Thousand Temples’, which is considered to be the second holiest place in India. Besides being a pilgrimage center, this city is also known for hand-woven silk fabrics. After an exciting and tiring day, you’ll come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry
Satiate your hunger with a wholesome breakfast at the hotel. Henceforth, you’ll leave for Pondicherry. Pondicherry is an enchanting coastal town comprising of some enduring French cultural pockets and ashram. On reaching, a check in at the hotel will be made. In the afternoon, a sightseeing tour will be arranged. Aurovile, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Pondicherry Museum and Botanical Garden are the key attractions. Also, you can spend some peaceful time at Pondicherry Beach. In the evening, you’ll drive back to the hotel for night stay.

Day 04: Pondicherry - Swamimalai
An early morning breakfast will start your day. Thereafter, you’ll journey to Swamimalai. Short breaks will be made at Gangaikondacholapuram and Darasuram. On your arrival at Swamimalai, you’ll be taken to the resort for a check-in. After a brief rest, you’ll move out for a sightseeing tour of Tanjore. An erstwhile capital of the Chola Dynasty which strongly ruled the entire South India during the 10th and 14th centuries, Thanjavur has some striking and magnificent places of interest. Brihadeeswarar Temple, Saraswathi Mahal Library and Art Gallery are some of them. Return to Swamimalai will be in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 05: Swamimalai - Trichy - Swamimalai
Refresh yourself with an appetizing breakfast, after which you’ll be driven to Trichy. One popular attraction at Trichy includes the eye-soothing magnificent Rock Fort which has a dominating effect in the city when it comes to tourism. Within the Rock Fort are some mesmerizing wonders scattered, one of them being the Vinayaka Temple constructed at the highest peak point. 437 steps that lead to up to the temple have been beautifully carved out from the rock and blend with several shrines. From the top of the temple, one can capture scintillating view of the holy Cauvery River. Thayumanaswamy Temple, set along the lower level of the Rock, is dedicatedly built in honor of Lord Shiva. Before you leave for Swamimalai, you’ll be taken to Srirangam to pay homage to Sri Ranganathar Swamy Temple. A drive back to the hotel will end the day.

Day 06: Swamimalai - Chettinad
Enjoy a traditional South India breakfast at the hotel. This will be followed by a drive to Chettinad. On arriving, you’ll be transferred to the hotel for a check-in. The historical city is blessed with numerous architectural marvels and ancient temples. Chettinad has created a niche for itself in the tourism industry due to the presence of fortress like homes. The night will be spent at the hotel.

Day 07: Chettinad
After a delicious morning breakfast, you’ll be taken for a full day city tour. Sited in close proximity is the Raja’s Palace. Take time to wander through the palace to explore the wonderful cultural beauties of the building. Some unique attractions are its courtyards decked up with intricate work in Italian marble and Burmese teak. To add more flavors to your visit is the authentic local Chettinad cuisine. In the evening, you’ll come back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 08: Chettinad - Madurai
Your day will start early with a flavorsome breakfast. This will be followed by a drive to the next destination in-line - Madurai, popularly known as the temple town of South India. Also the second largest city in Tamil Nadu, Madurai is a mecca for cultural and heritage enthusiasts. As you arrive at Madurai, you’ll be taken to the hotel for a quick check-in. Post lunch, a city sightseeing tour will follow. The major attractions will be Meenakshi Amman Temple. The temple stands beautiful with its mesmerizing towering gopurams and sculptures. What’s more, you’ll be visiting Thirumalai Naicker Palace, Koodal Azhagar Temple and Gandhi Museum. A visit to Meenakshi Amman Temple will again be made in the evening to witness the Pooja ceremony. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 09: Madurai - Chennai
After satisfying yourself with a gorgeous morning meal, you’ll be transferred to the airport for a flight to Chennai. On arrival in Chennai, you’ll be received by our tour executive who’ll accompany you to the hotel for a check-in. Rest of the day will be at your disposal or you can indulge in various recreational activities. Willingly, you can also opt for a sightseeing tour of Chennai. Dinner and night’s rest will be at the hotel.

Day 10: Chennai Departure
In the morning, you’ll be served with a sumptuous breakfast. Soon after, you’ll be dropped at Chennai International Airport for your flight back home. Wishing you a happy journey with wonderful memories!
